It is located above the Dujmovica cove, surrounded by a park and Mediterranean plants. The Villa Schiller was built by Frane Schiller in 1914, and it was later called Pansion Split. After World War II, the villa was confiscated and it served as a summer holiday house and a residence to the then president of Yugoslavia, and it hosted many foreign heads of state. Since 1988, it was used by the City of Split as a representative building and it is not open to the public.
