The family Capogrosso from Split built a castle on the southern side of Marjan
around 1513 and a part of it was the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel. In 1940,
Ivan Meštrović started renovating the church and he had four pillars with capitals
containing sculptures of heads of children placed inside.
