Prva vidilica on Marjan is the most famous observation point in the city of Split. It is located at Botić’s Walkway, near the Jewish cemetery. It was built during the 1920s as a part of a network of paths and observation points throughout Marjan. It is recognisable as a terrace enclosed by a stone fence made of white stone from Brač, used for fences throughout Botić’s Walkway. This is the place where some of the most beautiful photographs of Split have been taken, which show its development through history. It is a favourite relaxation place for the residents of Split and their guests, and often a “starting” point for the visit to park-forest.
